Roof Cost Index is operated by Thomas Town Digital. This page describes what the site collects and what happens to it.

The calculator

Calculator inputs are processed in your browser. An address entered in address mode is sent to our server function, which queries public GIS and geocoding services to find the building footprint and county; the address is not stored by us. Aggregate usage events (that a calculation happened, the state, the material) may be sent to our analytics when analytics is enabled; they contain no address or contact details.

The matching form

When you submit the matching or partner form we store the details you enter, the calculator figures attached to the request, the page you sent it from and any campaign parameters in the URL. We use them to match you with one vetted roofer and to contact you about that request. If no partner exists in your state, we hold the request and tell you so; we do not pass it to anyone until a partner joins. We do not sell form data to lead lists.

Analytics and cookies

We may use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to measure site use. These set cookies on your browser; you can block them with your browser settings. We do not use advertising cookies.
