For roofers
Homeowners come here to price a roof, not to be sold one. When they ask to be matched, we send the request to one vetted roofer in their area with the estimate attached. That is the whole model.
How matching works
- The homeowner has already seen a range. Every request carries the calculator's low / typical / high, the square count, the material and, for Charlotte addresses, the GIS footprint. You are quoting against an informed number.
- One roofer per request. We do not sell the same lead to five companies.
- No billing at launch. There is no fee to register and no per-lead charge while we build coverage state by state. If that changes, existing partners hear first and nothing changes without agreement.
- Vetting. We check the state licence, insurance and public reviews before any request is sent. We ask for the licence number on the form.
- Holding queue. Requests from states with no partner wait; the homeowner is told so and is connected when a roofer in that state joins. At launch that is every state, so the first partners in each state receive its queued requests.
Roof Cost Index is a Thomas Town Digital publication. We match homeowners with roofers; we do not roof. Partner status does not affect the Index data in any way.
